Children, Youth, & Families Activities at Dunfermline Abbey
Wonder, Creativity, Fun!
The Abbey Church makes space for people of all ages and stages within the life of our church, not just at Sunday Morning Worship, but also throughout the week.

A Space for Children & Families in a Worshipping Community
Sunday morning worship at the Abbey is often traditional with hymns, prayers, bible readings, a sermon and the Abbey Choir. During these services, there is a wriggly table in the south aisle, with activities for those who like to “do” while they listen.
Activities for Children & Families
The Abbey Church creates spaces of wonder, creativity, and fun for children, youth, and their families during the week with more unique special events held throughout the year

Abbey Kids
Abbey Kids is all about having creative, messy fun and exploring the world around us. Each week, we explore a different theme with activities both big and small. The group runs between 4 and 5:30 pm on Friday afternoons during term time.

Story Time
Come join us for fun and interactive Story Time sessions designed for 3-5-year-olds and their carers. Story Time is a special, welcoming space where you can experience a sense of wonder, and enjoy a gentle atmosphere.
