On Sunday, we gathered for our annual Harvest Service, made especially memorable this year by embarking on a gentle pilgrimage around the church. As we moved together through our historic space, we paused at significant points to reflect on the different kinds of ‘harvests’ that shape our lives. This thoughtful journey allowed us to blend the longstanding tradition of harvest thanksgiving with the ancient practice of pilgrimage, creating a meaningful celebration of the season. It also served as a reminder that faith is a journey we share, closely linked with the other events of Pilgrimage Month at the Abbey
