The service is open to anyone who is looking for a space and a place to reflect upon their year. During the service candles are lit in memory of those whose funerals have been conducted by Abbey Church of Dunfermline ministers, as well as those whose names have been given to the minister. There is also a time for those who attend to light their own candle.
