Easter Day started at 6.30am (5.30 really as the clocks changed!) with a dawn Sunrise Service by the Celtic Cross in the churchyard. After a short break there was the first of the morning services at 9.30 followed by the 11am service where the young church took part. The Easter banner (made at Messy Church) was on show and we all made oregami butterflies to pin to the cross. After the service the Sunday School handed out stones they had decorated with a message to all the congregation. Finally we went to the Hero’s Garden to roll our Easter eggs. A very busy Easter morning!
