Having been a centre of Christian Worship on this site for over a thousand years the church looks forward to the future with confidence in its place in the life of the town of Dunfermline.
The Outreach Group is organising another ceilidh on Saturday 10th September 2016 in the Dell Farquharson Centre, Dunfermline. Music will be provided by The Crossford Ceilidh Band with the dancing starting at 7.30pm.
Dunfermline Abbey has many special services and events throughout the Advent and Christmas season. From the Christingle Service, to the Christmas Concert from the band of the Royal Marines Scotland, to the Blue Christmas Service, there is something for everyone!
The Flying Scotsman passes through Dunfermline with a lovely sunset and Dunfermline Abbey providing the perfect backdrop.
There are a number of services and events in the Abbey during Holy week and on Easter Sunday including Sunrise Services, Palm Processions and Easter Egg Rolling
Worship at Dunfermline Abbey follows a traditional Church of Scotland pattern with the Word of God taking central place. Morning Worship takes place every Sunday at 9.30am & 11.00am.
