The annual Youth Organisations Service and Rededication of the Boys Brigade. The service today was a family service and Upside Down! The congregation, organisations, Abbey Kids and Youth group had a number of stations to explore which involved thinking, playing, weaving, posting suggestions for prayer and of course Lego!
Our 5th Summer Walk took us up the hill at the back of Culross to the West Kirk and the Plague Grave.
The 3rd summer walk took us up into the hills at the back of Aberdour!
This year’s Sunday School Picnic was held at Silver Sands Beach in Aberdour. On a lovely, if a bit breezy, day we enjoyed our picnic, had great fun with the sandcastle building competition, and finished with the usual, but essential races!

The Abbey hosted an Inter-Faith service to celebrate and give thanks for NHS Fife on the occasion of the 70th Anniversary of it’s founding. Worship was led by the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland.
It was great to see in excess of 400 children come to the Abbey today from a number of Primary Schools across Dunfermline for our Story Telling Event. As well as the story telling we were also presenting the prizes for our Robert the Bruce Competition, where P5s were asked …
Congratulations to Ian Vernon on winning this years Abbey Quaich with a very impressive 44 points!!! Congratulations also to runner up Bill McIntosh and to Danny Williamson on winning the coveted Session Prize. Thanks to Danny and to Graeme for organising another great event.
