‘Wonders of the World’
1 – 3 PM, Saturday 25th January, at Crossford Village Hall
‘Bricks of Wonder: Wonders of the World’ is a Lego event with an international theme. Children, young people, and their families are invited to recreate natural and human-made landmarks with Lego – everything from Edinburgh Castle to the Eiffel Tower and from the Giants Causeway to the Great Barrier reef! This event is on Saturday 25th January, the weekend before International Lego Day, which commemorates the anniversary of the LEGO® brick patent on 28th January, 1958. We will provide building suggestions and lots of Lego. Participants just need to bring their imaginations and a sense of curiosity about the world around them!
‘Wonders of the World’ will be the first in a series of free, fun Children’s, Youth, & Families events organised by the Abbey on the theme of ‘This is Our Wonderful World’. Click the link for more information on the theme.

What are ‘Bricks of Wonder’ events?
‘Bricks of Wonder’ are Lego-building workshops on a theme to inspire creativity and wonder. Past events have included building a scale model of Dunfermline Abbey, recreating the Easter Story, and exploring Space. ‘Bricks of Wonder’ events take place several times a year in either the Abbey Church, the Abbey Church Halls, or Crossford Village Hall.
